We are seeking a motivated and passionate person to join our team of Duty Managers based at Pulman Arena in Takanini, south Auckland.

Our outstanding facilities are geared towards sport, recreational, leisure & community excellence at all levels, and encompass world-class sports grounds and facilities over 64 hectares of spacious park surroundings.

Responsibilities:

• On-site setup and management of sports tournaments and community users
• Operating the technology in the arena – lighting, security, court, curtains, etc.
• Managing users & movement of the facility and other areas of the Park
• Compliance with health and safety standards & the park's operating policy.
• Foster & enhance the Bruce Pulman Park Mission, Values, and Culture.

Skills & Experience:

• You will need to be physically fit to set up for different sports & events.
• Experience in how sports tournaments/events operate would be an advantage.
• You will have first-class interpersonal skills to be able to interact with key people of sports clubs/organisations on a daily basis.
• You will need a Class 1 license. 
• Being computer savvy to be able to manage our high-tech software to run the facility

Due to the nature of the role you need to be flexible enough to work on a roster that will include evenings and weekend work.  This is a part-time role.
