Trampoline Coach


Park Overview
Bruce Pulman Park is a sports, recreation and function facility featuring a unique world-class sports outdoor and indoor facilities in 64 hectares of park setting. It is dedicated to the sustainable provision of Sport and Recreation Facilities which are used by people from all over New Zealand. The Pulman Recreation Centre is within the Park and is led by the Centre Manager as part of the overall Park Management Team. As the home of Counties Manukau Gymnastics, the Park and Club work closely together to run both Recreation and Competitive Training Programmes for the local and wider community.


We are now seeking coaches who can complement our existing team in the Trampoline and Tumble (TRA & TUM) programme.


Trampoline Gymnastics Coach
We are looking for individuals with a trampoline gymnastic coaching background who are looking for part time work to fit with their current lifestyle situation. A coaching qualification or a knowledge of Trampolining (including Double mini trampoline DMT) and Tumbling is desirable and essential for this role.


More important is the ability of coaches to deliver our coaching sessions to the children in fun, engaging and interesting ways. Your ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment that nurtures and grows our young people, will develop life skills that go beyond gymnastics. We are looking for coaches who are comfortable with and the ability to work with a diverse spectrum of gymnasts and coaches.


This position is ideal for people who are available in the later part of the day to coach classes from 3.30pm onwards, and/or weekend.


The right person will have opportunities to grow and develop into a leadership role. There will be support to gain gymnastic-specific coaching qualifications and ongoing personal development. There will be opportunities to work in other programmes to potentially increase weekly coaching hours.

• Experience in coaching or teaching gymnastics (STEPS programme is preferable)
• Reliable, with good organisation skills and attention to detail


As an organisation we pride ourselves on supporting our staff and providing them with opportunities to grow and develop. We will support staff with First Aid and Safeguarding (Child protection) training. Working with Children police vetting will be obtained prior to engagement.
