Bruce Pulman Park is a unique international Sports and Recreational Park featuring world class sports indoor and outdoor facilities in 64 hectares of spacious green fields.  We are dedicated to the sustainable delivery of Sport & Recreation Facilities which are used by people from all over New Zealand. This role will be responsible for working with the park fields team to ensure that the park is presented to a safe, world class standard which Auckland can be proud of.

 

Are you looking to advance your career and take a step up from duty manager or a concierge role.  If so, this is a great stepping stone in a dedicated accommodation facility catering for sports teams and  group stays and meeting spaces situated on Park grounds.  This role would suit someone that lives locally.

 

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced concierge or duty manager looking to step up and join our busy accommodation facility, Pulman Lodge in an administration role. You will work alongside the Lodge Manager and assist with all enquiries and booking, check in and outs by promoting positive guest experiences This will be a full-time role based on a monthly roster including weekends. Part of this role will include staying on site two nights per week to relieve the Lodge Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept, process, and confirm client enquiries and bookings.
  • Work with client booking requests, including any catering, and meeting room requirements.
  • Check in clients on arrival, manage needs during their stay and check out on departure.
  • Managing invoicing, deposits and taking payments.
  • Supporting the housekeeping team when large turnarounds are required and/or meeting spaces need setting up.
  • Be responsible for the Lodge two nights per week staying on site.
  • Support the Lodge Manager in the day to day running of the Lodge.

  • A high level of customer service skills for both internal and external enquiries
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • A level of computer skills to support bespoke booking programmes.
  • Going the extra mile to support the organisation and its clients.
