Bruce Pulman Park has partnered with AUT Sport & Rec and we are now offering some awesome opportunities for Sport and Rec students to get involved in large-event and tournament volunteer roles, networking opportunities, and industry placements.

Currently, we have 6 year-three students and 2 year-two students on industry/work placement both with the Park or through the multiple sports clubs and organisations that are based on the Park - ranging from gymnastics, TAG, basketball, athletics, and the Park Sports Academy.

Bruce Pulman Park Marketing and Sponsorship Manager and #autsportandrec alumna, Nicole Terrill (pictured left) says "By utilising AUT’s extensive expertise on the management capability and research in this field for both parties we will be able to better understand and deliver sport and recreation on the Park. This is a unique opportunity for enriching the development in a multi-disciplinary approach from delivery to research. Underneath these overarching goals is to also strengthen the opportunities for students to access and learn from industry experts in sports events, especially in South Auckland for our local students. This helps to support the growth and delivery of wider community participation in sport and recreation from a balanced and grassroots delivery approach that leads to healthier outcomes for all families in NZ."
